Congrats on the egg. It is exciting. My mom was thrilled a week and a half ago when hers began to lay. She has gotten 2 eggs a day now for about 7-8 days.
Thanks, Becca! Even though only one bird laid the egg, the others seemed rather proud and acted more mature. They didn't even attempt to untie my shoelaces like they usually do!
WHAT a great feeling! Congratulations. Our Littles recently started laying, which is great because the Bigs are molting and not laying. It's a wonderful feeling. Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?
June, we are so impressed with our pair of eggs (got a 2nd one yesterday!)that we haven't eaten them yet. We just have them in a basket on the dining room table where we admire them from time to time.
